- Since knowledge and
education have no limits, everybody has the right to
benefit from the library's services regardless where
they come from.

Membership fees are 10 NIS
for children, 20 NIS for students and 30 NIS for
adults.

Children and students are
allowed to borrow 3 books per time.

Postgraduate students are
allowed to borrow 5 books each time.

Members are allowed to keep
the borrowed books for 15 days and can extend the
period on the phone for another 15 days.

Fines for delays are 30
agora per day.

Periodicals and references
are only used in the library and can't be borrowed.

Membership fees do not cover
photocopying and internet services.

Lost books should be
refunded b the borrower.

The library has the right to
sue any member in the court of law in cases of delay
in returning books for a period that exceeds 6 months.

Signing the membership form
is a commitment by the member with all the rules and
regulations.
Board of Trustees:
The Municipality has been assigning a board of trustees
since 1970 until now the members are usually chosen from
the Academic and intellectual elitist in the society.
The board should help in developing the library and
promoting the scientific intellectual and educational
aspects of the society.
The current board which was assigned in April 2003
consist of the following:
Dr. Mahmoud Al Atshan: Head of the board, Afaf Aqel,
Raja' Rantisi, R. Khaled Alhilo, Dr. Cairo Arafat,
Muhannad Abdul Hamid, Hour Haj Abed, Salah Hanieh,
Ghassan Al-Taweel, Iman Hamayel, Rudanah Salameh,
Dakhlalllah Jaber.
He board has for its priority continue the work of
developing the library and enriching its resources in
addition to raising funds for expanding the library
especial the children's library and the internet
